Analytical Biochemist · Wildlife Photographer · Perpetually Outdoors
By day I'm an analytical biochemist doing full-time research — mass spectrometry-based, if you want the details. Which is just a fancy way of saying I spend a lot of time persuading proteins to fly through magnetic fields and then staring at the data. If that's your kind of thing, come find me on ResearchGate or LinkedIn.
When I'm not in the lab, I'm out in nature somewhere with a camera — usually waiting very patiently for a bird to turn around, or for the light to do that one thing. My photos are on 500px.
I also write a lot of code — R pipelines for mass spec data at work, Python for home automation, and web stuff for others. One of those is QR-Help, a project I'm building together with a friend. The work-adjacent experiments live on GitHub; the fun ones are (mostly) tucked away in private repos.
